Raifu Oyewole Oyedele
GENERAL MANAGER, ASSET MANAGEMENT DIVISION
Education: Mr. Raifu Oyewole Oyedele hails from Odo-Otin local Government Area of Osun State. He attended Oyan Grammar School, Oyan from 1975 to 1980 from where he proceeded to the University of Ibadan, Ibadan in 1981. He graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
Career: Mr. Oyedele started his career in NNPC in March 1992 as a Facilities Engineer on SS5 in the Joint Venture Division of NAPIMS, Lagos. As a Facilities Engineer, he followed up many engineering projects of the Joint Venture partners and acquired vast experience in Oil and Gas projects both at home and at the international level.
In 2004, he was nominated by the NAPIMS Management to work on the NNPC Transformation program called Project PACE with Accenture in NAPIMS. In 2005, in continuation of the Project PACE, he was part of the team that established the NNPC Electronic Marketplace for the Upstream sector of the Oil and Gas now called NipeX. He was the pioneer Deputy Manager Operations in NipeX.
In 2008, he was promoted as Deputy Manager Operations, NipeX, a position he had covered as a Chief Officer when NipeX was established. In 2013 Mr. Oyedele was promoted Manager Field Monitoring Operations of the Joint Venture Division of NAPIMS.
Engr. Oyedele was appointed General Manager, Asset Management on 14th November 2016 and transferred to NPDC Benin.
External Roles: Engr. Raifu Oyewole Oyedele has served in many capacities and has worked with others to deliver many Oil and Gas innovations and projects such as NipeX and NNPC/CNL External Finance Loan among others.
He is a registered Engineer and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
