NPDC staff are drawn from all over Nigeria. The Management Team is made up of a Managing Director and other Executive Directors. The Managing Director oversee the day-to-day operations of the company.

EDUCATION:  Abiola Queen Falowo (Mrs) graduated in 1984 from Obafemi Awolowo University, formerly known as University of Ife with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree in Geology and holds a Master of Science (M.Sc) Degree in Applied Geophysics with specialization in Engineering Geophysics option from the University of Lagos.

She is a recipient of the Group Managing Director (GMD) of NNPC's Award for the Best overall at the Chief Officers Management Course and the Group Executive Director (GED) NNPC, Corporate Services' Award for the Best Project at the same Chief Officers course also got a commendation letter from Elf Acquitaine in Pau, France for her outstanding contributions in the area of Sedimentology.

CAREER: She joined the old Joint Ventures Department of NNPC in December of 1987 as a Geologist and over the years became an astute Geologist and Engineering Geophysicist per excellence with strong technical knowledge and experience in the areas of Engineering Geophysics, Sedimentological Analysis, Reservoir Imaging, Earth Modeling, Shallow Hazard Evaluation, Geomechanics/ Pore Pressure Prediction, Management of Well Bore Stability,  Field Development Plans, Production Optimization, Classification of hydrocarbon fluids according to OPEC resolution in 2017/2018. She developed an effective and robust framework for the classification and the characterization of Nigerian NGLs and Gas Condensate from all the reservoirs in the Niger Delta in accordance with OPEC Resolution LXXXIV.286. The findings were encouraging and commendable. In 2016, she was a member of the team that increased production from zero to 2500bbls/d and some from zero to 15000bbls/d in some NPDC Assets.

As the Project Lead, she provided a pragmatic and outstanding leadership for the Paleogeographic Reconstruction/Prospectively Analysis of Anambra Basin and Benue Trough project in 2013 and contributed also to the optimization of the well location for one of the Deep water wells which added significant oil reserves to the country's reserve. Mrs. Falowo also worked in the Research and Development Division of NNPC for over Seven years where she acquired Laboratory experience and key technical knowledge on Refining and Petrochemicals,

EXTERNAL ROLES: She was with Shell Research Centre in Risywick, Holland and Shell Deep Water in Houston for an assignment where she worked on Well Prognosis and left with an excellent track record. She was also with Chevron Research Center in La Habra-California and Mobil Research Centre in USA, Petrobras in Brazil amongst other International Oil and Gas companies. During these periods, she was well trained and mentored by recognized world-class Authors such as Mitchum, Barbara Radovich of Chevron, Fondrini of NAOC and Professor Blake, amongst others. She possesses strong technical knowledge of the global oil and gas industry.

Her work has been proven and documented in the areas of Oil and Gas reserve addition, Production Optimization, Well Planning and Designs. In addition, she possesses good commercial sense, understands the dynamics and application of the various Contractual Agreements in ensuring high Profitability Index, Business Continuity, and transforming Non profitable Assets to Profitable Assets. Over the years, she has also worked on the HSSE components of a number of NNPC Joint Venture Projects. 

In 2001, while on assignment with Elf Acquaintance in Pau, she made an outstanding contribution in the area of sediment logical Analysis on one of the fields which helped with significant Reserve addition.  Based on the foregoing, a Commendation letter was sent to NNPC by Elf Acquaintance in Pau, France on her outstanding performance. She is an active member of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationist (NAPE), Society for Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS) COMEG and AAPG. Her hobbies include reading and athletics. She is happily married and blessed with lovely children.
